Skywatch Friday

-
When I woke up today and looked out of the window, I was a bit afraid of my today skywatch post. The reason was the absolute mist outside. No sky, no shapes, no colours except the light blue and grey.
I hoped that the weather could turn fair during the day, so I took my camera with me and went to work. But nothing happened, nothing changed.
I was a bit desperate so I took some photos of the misty hills around the school I teach at. But the result was a bit.. weird let´s say. It sounds great and magical - misty hills, but it wasn´t great and magical at all. So I erased all those photos and moved to the other school I teach at.
The classes are on the thirt floor of quite tall building, so the sky can be seen much better from there - nothing spoils the pictures (as other tall buildings, wires, etc.), there is only the big sky.

And I was lucky to take the only today´s sunbeams as the sun was setting:

You've talked about how overcast your skies are this time of year so congratulations on finding the light. It's really beautiful work, Namnet, and so wonderful that you just had to look out the window and there it was.

Hello from California. We had gloomy skies with absence of sun on Monday, but looking out my window today, it looks like all blue and the sun is shining brightly.

Have a good weekend.

Thank all of you for wonderful comments. I am terribly sorry that I haven´t had enough time to visit the skywatch posts of all of you. Every bit of my energy was stolen by my work and a family issue. I will explain that as soon as possible.
But thank you once more.

to Suz:
Yes, Tori Amos rules!!

to Faye:
That tall building is a silo. There used to be a sugar factory (one of the biggest in the central Europe) in my town. Now it is a big shopping area, but the silo has remained and makes the place looks a bit extraordinary.
