I took these photos in Austria, very close to the capital city Vienna. The land there is quite flat and full of the wind mills. Some of them are very close to the road and driving there you feel like passing by the feet of giants who waves you very slowly...
And don´t forget to check other people´s photos of sky all over the world on the Skywatch site!!!:-)

Not how I would imagine Austria...your quiet photos look like Kansas. Thanks for sharing.
Nice one for SKYWATCH! Mine's up too hope you can drop by and asking for your help.... I was nominated for pinoyworld blog of the week, located at my side bar... Hope you can vote for me... The way of fortune is like the milkyway in the sky.... Thanks a lot! Happy weekend!
Very dramatic shots - the empty landscapes and the turbines standing out so starkly.
I am happy to be able to see these. I wish we could do something like that here in this country. Especially around where I live.
Nice photography.

Beautiful! Isn't it amazing how the power of technology goes from windmills to gas, to hydro, nuclear, and now back to windmills? Such a simple and clean concept may save us all yet.
I don't often see this kind of wind mills. Where I live in Argentina, they talk a lot about them (for cleaner energy) I hope someday I can shoot them on my way home too.
These are really hypnotic. I used to live near a windfarm and they are mesmerising, like this image.
I love windmills. What a great prop in the pictures. I especially love the second one.
Very cool to see the modern windmills. Great job.
Cheers
The clouds are fantastic shapes and they look heavy! Great pics!
Pretty photos! Cool to see the windmills:) Have a great weekend.
Great SWF photos! Great that you captured the windmills or electriciy mills! Well Done!!
We capture wind power but on a much smaller scale at our cabin on Powell Lake. We live in a sheltered bay, but in the winter when the storms are raging we are making electricity. My pictures are of a mackerel sky before the storm. I invite you to come see. - Margy
These wind turbines make great subject to capture... and against the sky make a perfect SWF shot and posting.. :O)
Sorry, I’m a little late because I was sailing this weekend.
So I stop by and say thank you for a nice SWF.
