Let´s Walk Barefoot

-
Me and Smallone have created a tradition. Every Friday I pick her up from the nursery school, we go by bus to the mall where we sit in a café (I usually sip coffee and Smallone have some chips and some apple juice - which is definitely very healthy...) and we wait for my sister till she finishes at work. Fridays are our days.
And everytime I am with her I am back in my childhood. Or sort of it. We sing while walking along the pavement, we dance while waiting for the bus, we play foolish games anytime we can. Maybe it´s something with an inner child. Everybody needs one. Everybody needs to keep him or her as close as possible. Because if you lose your inner child, there will be a barren place left in your mind or soul (or how you´d like to call it), and you will become an austere and stiff person.
Everybody should have his or her Peter Pan´s side of mind to be able to see how wonderful world is around. With so many colours, so many wonders, with so many tiny mysteries and puzzles.

  • There is no such thing on earth as an uninteresting subject. The only thing that can exist is an uninteresting person.

  • A dead thing can go with the stream, but only a living thing can go against it.

(both quotes are by great G. K. Chesterton. And here you can find more wonderful quotes by him.)
