Skywatch Friday

-
As I wrote in my last entry, the sky is grey these days. Only ravens spoil this cloudless, shapeless, and dull sky. And some planes from time to time.
So I haven´t taken any photo of recent sky. Not interesting one enough to share here. And because I missed last round, I really want to contribute this one. Therefore I have browsed my secret collection of take-a-picture-of-everything-you-see photos and here they are:

All these photo were taken in 2006 while we were on holiday in Jeseníky mountains. There is one little (very little) village where my family and friends of ours had been going every summer since I was three. And we stopped when I was about 15. It is kind of place you have forever in your heart. Kind of secret place with thousands of adventures. Those fields, forests, brook, caves, wild berries and mushrooms, all of them are "ours". In that year, 2006, we were there for recollecting all these things. We did and it was bliss. Again. Even lots of things have changed (it is not a secret place any more, some tourists have discovered it), it was one of my best holidays so far.

Don´t forget to visit other keen skywatchers!

I too had to rely on the oldies from the archives to post today and last week, haven't been doing much snapping lately.

Hope to see you more this year.

Happy New Year btw.

I have my entry at my other blog:

You've really outdone yourself with these, N. Everything looks idyllic. I don't know if you realize this but for most Americans Eastern Europe seems like one unbroken battle field but this changes my view of things forever.

I was wondering why you no longer visited there - until you mentioned the loss of secrecy. I'm glad you had those twelve years. These are very special.
