Skywatch Friday - The Smoke and Ravens

-
During one of our afternoon-nap-then-making-footprints-in-the-snow walks with Smallone (see posts below) the sun was shining, but the light was a bit unusual. It was about 2p.m. and the clear sky was reflected on the roads.

There were no single cloud floating in the sky but this one which looked like a big mass of smoke:

Every winter many birds leave the country and also many birds arrive. The certain proof that winter comes is that the ravens start to rule the white kingdom.

I missed your SWF entry last week. Or did you miss two weeks in a row? It looks like cold where you are. Love the third shot.

Photo Cache,
I missed just one SWF entry (fortunately just one). My small niece and her mother are visiting us (the last two posts are all about them). And I´ve realised that Smallone (my niece) is a bit time-consuming person so I didn´t have time to post anything.
But now I am compensating it.

Your pictures are beautiful. I really love the one raven at the top of the tree.

The sky is definitely unusual. I like it.

Wow! I love the Ravens. We have a group here that act like a group of teenage boys. My Dog loves chasing them from the yard, and they love to taunt her.

A beautiful one act play! I love the birds and their obvious flair for the dramatic.
Happy SWF!

From dreaminess to drama and on to reality. This series has it all. Such great pics. Especially the second one.

Love all four! The first is so special with the intense reflection of the diffuse light and the last really does proclaim the kingdom of the ravens.
