Long Last Five Days and Tiring Today

-
The last five days were fatiguing. The new school year begun and I always need some time to get to it and start to function. I teach at two schools so everything needs to be done twice. Two lesson plans, two schedules, two different text books. And also two different approaches to students as I teach small children from 8 to 10 and adults about 19 years old. I am also a form teacher of the adults´ class so there are another duties arise from it. It was busy week with little sleep and long consultations.

Today I visited my sister and Smallone. It is amazing how quickly children are growing and developing. Smallone is so smart, so nice and so beautiful. And sometimes so stubborn and artful and canny and shrewd. Just adore her:-)
I was bathing her again. Maybe you remember the whole bathing family, e.g. ducks or octopus. I still have none of them. Still bathing alone. And still in need of rubber duck:-)
Ok, so I was bathing her and she wanted me to bath with her. I have decided next time I will accept this offer:-) It was fun. And I think it was the first bright moment of today.
The second one was a walk with Sunday Girl after the sun went down and the darkness fell. I like this time of a day. The streets are almost empty, just a few people can be seen. The air is fresh, the animals appear. Today we saw a hedgehog and two cats. And as the night is bright, thousand of stars can be seen. Nights can be so peaceful and slow. I like them.

Today is tiring not because of the work, but because Elizabeth is ill.
She cannot eat, cannot even drink (which is much worse). My sister took her to a vet today. The vet couldn´t find any disease, so just gave her three injections to help her keep the meal inside, and to give her body some energy. They didn´t work. Tomorrow she is seeing the vet again. I hope she will be alright. To me it looks like poisoning or something like that. I really and deeply wish she would be ok.
Not just because of her, but also because of my sister and her family. Before Elizabeth they had another spaniel, also a girl, called Nelly. They had to put her down, because when she was about one year old the congenital kidney disease was discovered. The disease was incurable and inoperable. Nelly underwent some treatment like infusions, pills, but nothing worked. Then she started to suffer from pain a lot so my sister´s family had to decided what to do. It was a hard time.
Nelly was a beauty:

Oh no. I hope she's better. Our dog Daisy is our little girl and I would be crushed if anything ever happened to her. Keep us posted.

Welcome here:-)
Yes, she is fortunately finally better. The whole next post will be about her.
I hope your Daisy would never experience something like Elizabeth did. It was horrible both for her and for us.
Maybe I just haven´t noticed but are there any photo of Daisy in your blog? I would like to see her:-)

If you go to picasa web albums and search MY DOG DAISY, you can see more pictures of her. She is a big love. It's not the dogs that are bad it's bad people. She was a rescued puppy and the love of our lives for almost 5 years now.

She is really gorgeous. And I absolutely agree with the idea about not bad dogs but people. What you give is what you get. If someone is not good to a dog, he cannot be surprised if the dog behaves bad. And vice versa. Dogs can give so much love and be so loyal. I am a dog kinda girl:-) Not cat one:-)
And I really apreciate that you rescue your Daisy. Not many people do that.

Pets are family. We have two cats and a dog and I don't know what I would do without them. I read ahead and saw that Elizabeth recovered, which must be a huge relief. I'm so glad!
