Skywatch Friday

-
These photographs are from our holiday in Austria. We spent it in the area of many lakes and mountains and stayed in a very small village right under one of those mountains. The village is situated between big meadows on both sides.
On one of those meadows there is a some kind of industrial building. Perhaps it is a water purify station, maybe not. But it was very silent, made no smoke, we almost hadn´t noticed there is something like that.
So here are picture of it took both during the daylight and at night when the lights made it to look much more nicer. The daylight one was taken by my father, the night one by me.

To see and enjoy other photographs of the sky from all around the world, as good as the people that post them, visit Skywatch Friday site, or click to the displayed logo in the sidebar.

What a lovely place to visit. I have never been there but always wanted to go because my parents went there on business a couple of times when I was in school. (Left me at home... bummer!) The night picture is wonderful. So dramatic!

Hi, Namnet. I have to agree with Rambling Round, the sky is so very clear. I kept looking at the photos trying to put my finger on why they looked so unusual and that was it. I suppose it's the mountain air?

Namnet: I love the way the clouds hug the mountains in the first shot.

Thank you everyone for spending your time commenting my photos:-) That´s why I so appreciate the idea of skywatch friday. It brings people together and if they are so kind and comment it is wonderful. And of course, the chance to see sky all over the world by other people´s eyes is priceless:-)

To louise and lilli: Yes, Austria is a lovely place. Especially the mountain area with wonderful clean lakes.

To pj: I think so. The air is so fresh, the sky is so big and the sun is much closer in the mountains.

The first one is really nice but it's taking too long to download the second so please don't be offended if I give it a miss this time.
